Our mission as a Catholic/Jesuit university commits us to ensuring that all members of our community are treated with dignity, and that our campus is free of discrimination in all forms so that all may flourish to their fullest potential.
As a University, we are motivated by the rich tradition of Catholic Social Teaching that promotes belonging, dignity, and justice for all people. We are also guided by Jesuit values calling us to live a faith that does justice as we work to change social structures that generate injustice.
How Our Core Values Shape Us
Like all 27 Jesuit universities in the U.S., ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø is guided by a set of core values. These annual themes are infused into the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø experience, from academics to special events to student reflections. Throughout their RU experience, students discover these values relate to their lives regardless of their beliefs.
