Perkins was invited onto GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium to be the “First Pass” honoree as part of pregame festivities honoring City Year, a national nonprofit agency dedicated to providing support and resources to schools. Students affiliated with St. John’s College in Belize will be coming to ڰ to complete doctoral studies in education, according to a new agreement between the institutions.
A memorandum of understanding was signed between the two institutions Sept. 21, the 40th anniversary of Belizean independence. It will allow up to 10 students from St. John’s College to enroll in ڰ’s Ed.D. program. The first cohort will begin in June 2022.
