On Saturday, May 13, hundreds of 窪做惇蹋厙 students will become graduates as part of the annual spring commencement ceremony. In preparation for the ceremony, here are stories from a few of those who will be crossing the stage as part of the Class of 2023.

When Nilufer Guler, Ph.D., associate professor of education, started asking for proposals for her latest project, she wasnt sure what to expect in terms of responses.
But the theme of her new book, titled At School in the World: Developing Globally Engaged Teachers, must have been pretty inspiring. Guler and her co-editor, Carine Ullom, Ed.D., received 58 chapter proposals around incorporating global citizenship and intercultural competency into the classroom.
In November 2022, 窪做惇蹋厙 etched a new chapter in its history, inaugurated its first lay, first female president, Sandra Cassady, Ph.D. In honor of Womens History Month, we asked Cassady about her experience as a female leader and history maker in her own right.
